Cardio & Aerobic Kickboxing
There are several great ways to get in shape, but to get in shape while learning actual kickboxing techniques you need Kardio Kickboxing. Unlike some mixtures of aerobics and martial arts, Kardio Kickboxing is a fat-burning, muscle-building, shaping activity which combines REALISTIC punches, kicks, and knee and elbow strikes with fast paced stance drills, blocks and counters to provide the ultimate in fitness success. When coupled with proper diet and daily strength exercises, Kardio Kickboxing will make you burn calories and lose weight. As with all of our classes, there is a free trial class and if you bring a friend, you receive a complimentary gift. So do not hesitate to take the step to get in shape.
It’s like two workouts in one! Because it gives you twice the benefits of any other aerobic exercise. When you kickbox, you’re getting great aerobic benefit but you’re also getting the benefits of resistance training because you are hitting something. (Who doesn’t need to hit something sometimes?)
Kickboxing will get you ripped! Fitness kickboxing also burns more calories than any other aerobic training, including running and cycling. Plus you can learn to punch and kick like a champion! But the best part of fitness kickboxing is that it is fun! You are no longer doing the same old work out and you can go at your own pace. From someone just starting to workout to the fitness fanatic anybody can and will get results with kickboxing.
Muay Thai Kickboxing Techniques
As well as getting you into great shape, our kickboxing class also teaches fundamental Muay Thai and Boxing techniques usefull for preparing for a competition. These techniques include the use of the clinch to control your opponent and set up devastating knee and elbow strikes. Most of the class is partner based and you can work both cardio and strength as you throw punches, kicks, knees, and elbows and work the Muay Thai Clinch with a partner.
Our class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30pm-8:45pm. If you would like to try one of these classes out, please visit or contact us with your information and we will contact you back. Kardio Kickboxing is a free class to any Mixed Martial Arts class members.
The drills we teach in our Savannah Kickboxing course will very from high energy, aerobic workout, to strength building striking workouts. It is necessary for each of our students to come to class prepared. If you have not enrolled, you are not required to purchase any gear in order to work out, however, if you become a student, we recommend that you buy your own gear for class. We have bundled a great cardio kickboxing workout gear set for you below. Once you order the set, it will arrive at the gym within 5-10 business days and you will be ready to start getting into phenomenal shape. Please read our order details at the bottom of the page.
This package consists of almost everything you need for our intense Kick boxing workouts. The full package contains ankle supports, wrist wraps, striking and sparring gloves, a speed jump rope, and a pair of Muay Thai Boxing Shorts. If you would like to couple this with a easy to carry individual sports bag, choose the second option below.
